Kim uses both breath awareness and visualization to relax her client, increase bloodflow and slow the heart rate.  Meditation reduces anxiety, decreases muscle tension and headaches.
There is a relaxation and breathing technique used at the beginning of each yoga class and a meditation at the end of the class.

Suggestions (this list may grow as time goes on):
  •    Bring WATER!
  •  Layer your clothes to always be the perfect temperature.  A body usually cools down during a meditation.
  • If you have a favourite cushion to sit on bring it along.
  • If you have an idea of what you would like to use for your meditation, bring that along.  ie a reading from a book, meditation beads, something to gaze at....
